What does self storage cost? |
| | The cost of a self storage unit depends on the size of the unit and whether or not it is climate controlled. For specific unit sizes and rates, please call our manager.

How do I know what size I need? |
| | Our staff is very knowledgeable in determining the appropriate size unit you will need based upon what you are storing. We also offer some helpful guidelines in the Tips for Selecting Appropriate Size Unit located on our website. |
Are there additional fees? |
| | The Storage Place does require a one-time $15 administrative fee that is paid at the time of contract signing. We do not require a security deposit. |
Do I need to bring my own lock? |
| | The Storage Place will provide you with a free lock at contract signing. It is yours to keep and take with you when you leave. |
How can I pay my monthly rent? |
| | The Storage Place accepts all major credit cards. We can also automatically run the monthly charges on your card each month. We also accept cash, money orders or personal checks. |
Is there a minimum rental period? |
| | The minimum rental period is one month. We automatically renew each contract on a monthly basis. We do have rental incentives for paying long term contracts. For specific information you may contact the manager. |
What about insurance? |
| | Most automobile or homeowner’s insurance policies cover items that are stored in self storage facilities. However, it is best to check with your agent ahead of time. We do have brochures and contact information for storage insurance available through an independent insurance agency. |
When can I access my storage unit? |
| | The Storage Place has 24 hour access. As long as your rent is current, you may access your unit at any time. You lock it - you keep the key!! |
Do you have packing materials? |
| | Yes, we have a variety of packing materials available for purchase at the property. |
How do I cancel my rental contract? |
| | We ask that you notify the manager 10 days prior to moving out. If you move out before the 10th of the month, we will prorate the remaining rent for that month. Move outs after the 10th, will require a full months rent. |
How do I rent your truck? |
| | We offer our truck complimentary only during office hours for one time at move in. If you wish to use the truck at a later time while a customer at The Storage Place, there are ½ day and full day rental fees. To reserve the truck, please contact the manager for availability a week ahead of time if possible. |
Do you accept deliveries? |
| | Yes, The Storage Place will accept deliveries on your behalf once the appropriate paperwork has been completed.
